Sensual Movement and Pole Dancing for Fitness Series 101
(Introduction)
This
course gently introduces you to this unique and empowering movement. The
introduction class begins with stretching, then moves into sensual floor
work, followed by the all powerful hip work, and then into a standing
series of exercises (~35 minutes). Each class ends with a pole trick
lesson and a short cool down stretch (~25 minutes). We will work
towards a mini-routine you could perform for yourself or that special
someone. Learn "the walk", "the pirouette", "the backslide", "the body
wave", "the grinding bridge", "the prance", "the flirt", transitional
moves, hand and feet positioning and much more!
Anyone can learn the moves and techniques
with the practice, attitude and confidence gained from each progressive
session.
The
workout/routine has been built on the assumption that you don't own a
pole.
Sensual Movement and Pole Dancing for Fitness Series 102
(Series 101
prerequisite)
In Series 102 we will revisit, refine and combine various pole moves
from Series 101 as well as throw in a few new moves like pole climbing,
pole sliding, invert , body spiral..to create an inspiring choreographed
dance routine to the classic and sassy jazz song "HEY Big Spender!". As
the song screams out - "Do you want to have fun, fun, fun, how about a
good laugh – good time !?" That’s exactly what we will do. Over the 6-week
program we will practice each choreographed move until we perfect the
entire routine. Class commences with 20 minutes of sensual seated
stretching and a 5 minute meditative cool down with assisted spine
stretches for each person.
Chair Dance
Fitness
Series 103 (New Fall
2010)
this simple yet
saucy and sensual Chair Dance Fitness Class we will teach you how to
incorporate "core sensual moves" into a fun, at times demanding chair
routine. You will be guided through a series of chair warm-up moves
dance links plus toning and strengthening exercises. Listen to Justine
and Beonce and get in touch with your sensual side. Find out what a fun,
creative and killer workout Chair Dance Fitness can be. Over the 6-week
program we will practice each choreographed move until we perfect the
entire routine. Class commencing with 20 minutes of sensual stretching
